Make ASU basketball Arizona's team

I don't know whether ASU being a perennial basketball contender is achievable.

But another goal – recruiting more Arizona players – should be. There are enough Arizona players roughly as good as the out-of-staters who have been coming to ASU.

Having a team featuring Arizona athletes would automatically increase local interest. And in the years in which they were a contender, local interest and support would go through the roof.
