Snoop Dogg welcomes ASU to Adidas with jersey

Arizona State's switch to Adidas is already bringing some star recognition.

It didn't even take an hour after ASU's announcement of an eight-year partnership with Adidas for rapper Snoop Dogg to post a video welcoming the Sun Devils to the Adidas family.

The rapper posted the video on his Twitter page shortly after the press conference ended. Snoop Dogg has 11.7 million followers on Twitter, so it's safe to say that the simple post promoted the ASU brand quite a bit.

Snoop was holding an Adidas Arizona State No. 21 jersey (*cough* Jaelen Strong*) that actually looked similar to Nike's "Desert Fuel."

The jersey could very well be a prototype or sample, but even from that brief glimpse, it doesn't look bad at all.

Well done, Adidas. That's a good start.
