You can’t wear your PJs, but plenty of places stay open past your normal bedtime to satisfy those late-night cravings. Here are 20 destinations that don’t roll up the sidewalks at 10 p.m.

PHOENIX

Welcome Diner

Things don’t even get rolling until 5 p.m., but you’re welcome to stay until 2 a.m. every night except Monday, when the Welcome Diner is closed. Dig into the Bumblebee, a biscuit sandwich of fried chicken and local honey, with house-made mustard and pickles ($8.50).

Bitter & Twisted

Open from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday, B&T is a cocktail lounge that prides itself on such late-night munchies as smoked brisket tacos made with house-smoked beef brisket, guacamole, cotija cheese and pico de gallo (three for $8, each extra $2).

Grand Avenue Pizza Company

This pizzeria is open every night until 4 a.m. except Sunday. Before then, keep the velociraptor of hunger at bay with the meaty and mighty T-Rex, a pie topped with smoked ham, mild sausage, pepperoni and bacon (12-inch, $18; 18-inch, $28).

Jerry’s Restaurant

Jerry’s is open 24 hours, so come in any time for such American favorites as beef pot roast, with vegetables of the day, your choice of potato (fries, mashed or baked), and soup or salad ($9.49).

The Vig

It’s just what you’re craving: Holy Mac & Cheese, with campanelle pasta, American cheese, white Cheddar and Gruyere cheese ($9, for $2 each add bacon, chicken, chorizo or broccoli). The Arcadia location is open every night until 2 a.m., with food served until 1 a.m. Other locations also have late nights.

WEST VALLEY

Majerle’s Sports Grill

If your sweet tooth is keeping you up, feed it a Slye’s Brownie Sundae, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce over a warm brownie, smothered in whipped cream ($6.50). Majerle’s is open until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays and midnight during the week. Kitchen closes as crowds thin.

Tailgaters and Il Primo

Open until about 2 a.m. nightly, this sports grill will send you off to dreamland with a chicken parmesan baked sub, made with breaded chicken covered in marinara sauce and mozzarella rolled inside pizza dough and baked, served with chips or fries ($9.99). Kitchen winds down between 11 p.m. and midnight, serving only pizza and wings.

Cafe Ga Hyang

Up late dreaming of kimchi? Fermented cabbage might not be the best late-night snack, but this Korean cafe’s owner Nick Rocha recommends his kolbi dolsot bibimbap, rice and assorted vegetables and marinated rib meat, served in a hot stone bowl ($11.95). Open until 2 a.m. every night except Sunday (11 p.m.).

The Brookside II Sports Bar & Grill

Eat this before you hit the sack: the hot pastrami sandwich

made with shaved pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, mustard and pickle on a toasted sesame hoagie roll, served with fries ($10.29). Open nightly until 2 a.m.

Waddel’s Longhorn Corral

The Corral is open until 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and other nights at least until midnight, when you can have a burger and also get a jump-start on breakfast with the Sunnyside hamburger, a half-pound beef patty topped with two eggs and cheese, served with two sides ($13).

NORTHEAST VALLEY

Temple Bar Sports Grill

You can satiate your appetite at this pub usually until 2 a.m. every night with such dishes as Galway Fish & Chips, golden brown fried cod served with fries and coleslaw (or baked potato after 5 p.m) ($12). On some summer nights, when business slows, the place will close earlier.

Kazimierz World Wine Bar

Open 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily, this lounge offers such signature treats as the South Scottsdale flatbread with sweet and spicy barbecued chicken, bacon, red and green onions, white Cheddar and cilantro ($12). Kitchen serves until 1:30 a.m.

Wadaa Street Tacos

If you’re too sleepy to make big decisions, you’ve come to the right place. This walk-up taco stand offers just two: chicken or carne asada, in corn or flour tortillas, then pile on the condiments ($3). Open until 3 a.m. weeknights and 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Evo

You’ll sleep like a log after dinner of the Bistro Steak, a beef tenderloin served with heirloom tomatoes, local greens and crispy onions ($25, add $2 for potatoes). Open every night until 2 a.m., with dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends.

Carlsbad Tavern

Check out the Late Night Menu for all the sleepyhead specials, such as the popular blue-corn enchiladas that include one chicken and one shrimp enchilada served with green-chile sauce, rice and beans ($9.25). Open every night until 2 a.m.

SOUTHEAST VALLEY

Amados Mexican Food

Have a breakfast burrito filled with potatoes, bacon, eggs and cheese ($4.93) any time of day. The place is open 24 hours.

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom

Maybe you want just a little nosh. Nosh on the crispy jalapeño-cheese ravioli made with creamy jalapeño-stuffed ravioli fried and sprinkled with Parmesan and Romano cheeses with a side of zesty pizza sauce for dipping ($3.99). Open until 2 a.m. nightly; kitchen open until midnight.

The moon is high and you’re feeling a bit peckish. A big fat hoagie is what you need, maybe stuffed with seasoned meatballs and red sauce with melty mozzarella cheese ($9.89). Open until 2 a.m.

Crabby Dons

The place stays open until 2 a.m. every night and will keep the kitchen open until 10 p.m. weeknights and midnight on weekends. Dig into pulled-pork sliders made from smoked shredded pork in a whiskey barbecue sauce, topped with a crispy onion ring and served with fries or tater tots (three for $8.49).

Juan Jaime’s Tacos and Tequila

Mostly we like the name of this dish: Juan, Dos, Tres is a platter of one bean and cheese tostada, one cheese and onion enchilada, and a taco of your choice ($9.95). Open until 2 a.m. nightly, food served until 1 a.m.
