Liberty Market Burger Daze promotion is back, Aug. 1-31

Liberty Market in downtown Gilbert will serve a different specialty burger every day in August — a total of 31 creations — as part of Burger Daze. And you could get as much as $100 back if you eat them all.

The annual promotion, which runs Aug. 1-31, was developed to attract customers during the slow summer and as a creative outlet for chef/partner David Traina, formerly of hip Phoenix burger spot Delux.

Beef burgers are made with Niman Ranch ground beef, but they aren’t all meat patties. Among the vegetarian options are the Pad Thai tofu patty on Aug. 2 and the grilled Portobello patty with avocado on Aug. 10.

Highlights from this year’s lineup

• Pasta House Burger with beef patty, linguine and marinara on garlic bread (Aug. 7).

• Shrimp and Crispy Bacon Burger with beef patty, sautéed shrimp, crispy candied bacon and Sriracha aioli (Aug. 14).

• Hollywood Cobb Burger with beef patty, chopped greens, egg, bacon, tomato and blue cheese dressing (Aug. 18).

• Jamaican Jerk Burger with beef patty, mango salsa and chipotle aioli (Aug. 25).

The final burger is the Truffle Mushroom Burger with beef patty, Havarti, truffle mushrooms and arugula.

The special burgers are available for one day and the price for each varies from $13-$16.

Customers who eat 10 burgers during the month will get a $25 gift certificate, and those who eat all 31 burgers will get a $100 gift certificate. Customers must keep all receipts for verification and claim the cards by Sept.7.
