Instagram's big day: Worldwide InstaMeet 12

For photographers and Instagram lovers all over the world, today is the day to gather IRL to celebrate community and photography during Instagram's Worldwide InstaMeet 12.

This year's WWIM theme is to share #todayimet portraits, and Instagram's blog asks Instagrammers "to help others connect to new and interesting people" by giving a shoutout to favorite accounts using the #whoifollow hashtag.

In Arizona, the InstagramAZ community will be partying and portraiting at DeSoto Central Market in downtown Phoenix from 3 to 6 p.m. Organizers promise giveaways, plus prizes donated by local companies in a free-to-enter raffle. Follow the action at #WWIM12AZ.
