Adoption fees are waived for adult cats this week at the Arizona Humane Society.

In what they are calling "Cat Dependence," the Arizona Humane Society has waived adoption fees for all adult cats and cut fees in half for kittens this week.

From Monday through July 3, cats ages seven months and older will be free, and kittens will have a $50 adoption fee, organization officials said.

All cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated before adoptions. They come with free pet carriers, bags of food and follow-up veterinary exams.

The Humane Society's four locations have more than 200 cats seeking a loving home.
