At 96, the grand dame of Arizona landmarks doesn't look a day over 6 million.
But then, all classic beauties have something timeless about them.
On this day in 1919, the Grand Canyon was designated a national park (the actual Canyon is, of course, is much older than that). To celebrate our own world wonder, we've gathered some of our favorite stories and photos.
