Craft 64 in Scottsdale was named Arizona's Top Rated New Hot Spot of 2015 by Bar & Nightclub.

Scottsdale is known for its showy nightclubs and high-end restaurants, but Arizona's hottest new destination is a place that serves pizza and beer.

Craft 64, a casual restaurant known for its wood-fired pizza and extensive craft beer list, is on Nightclub & Bar's list of Top-Rated New Hot Spots from 2015, representing Arizona.

Nightclub & Bar is a national authority on the nightlife industry, and the company's media group partnered with Yelp, the popular user-submitted review site, to gather the highest-rated new bars, nightclubs and lounges in the country. Yelp then narrowed it down to one venue in each state and Washington, D.C. Craft 64 has an average 4.5-star rating on Yelp with 146 reviews.

Craft 64 is one Republic dining critic Dominic Armato's 10 favorite pizza joints in metro Phoenix. Open since August 2014, it features local art on the walls and a friendly atmosphere that makes it a popular hangout in downtown Scottsdale. There are 36 Arizona brews on tap at any given time, and owner and sommelier Josh Ivey oversees the wine list. The food menu features a variety of wood-fired pizzas, from the simple Margarita (fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce) to the more adventurous Fico (buratta, mozzarella, truffle oil, fig sauce, arugula and Parmigiano-Reggiano).
