Donald Trump will win Iowa. And New Hampshire. And South Carolina.

So says former Gov. Jan Brewer, who was speaking at a politics and law seminar hosted by Ballard Spahr, the law firm where she now consults. She stopped short of predicting who she thinks will win the GOP presidential nomination, but narrowed the file to Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, John Kasich and Jeb Bush.

Gov. Jan Brewer delivers her State of the State address in January 2014.

"I think it will be a Trump-Brewer ticket," said a grinning former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, who also sat on the panel.

"No!" Brewer said, to laughter from the roomful of attorneys and political operatives.

Although she wouldn't commit on her presidential pick, Brewer wasn't shy about one of the hot-button issues likely to light up the Arizona ballot later this year. The Open and Honest Disclosure initiative would require disclosure of "dark-money" contributions to candidate campaigns.

"People want full disclosure," Brewer said. "I think people want to know who is behind the dollars they are spending."

It should pass, she said, if done right.

"Get it right, Chuck!" she said, pointing at political consultant Chuck Coughlin, who ran her campaigns and will be steering this one as well.
