Punchlines: Technology gets us in trouble

Show someone a new mode of technology and it's almost guaranteed they'll find a not-so-savory way of using it.  The latest example: AshleyMadison.com, the website created for married people looking for affairs.  It turns out that more than 100 of the site's users were ESPN employees, according to reports. That news forced late-night comic Conan O'Brien to come to terms with the fact that adultery has finally made its way into the world of professional sports.

And how is technology getting us in trouble at work? Late-night comic James Corden stumbled upon a study that details how much people are using YouTube in the office. The numbers may surprise you.  He also discusses other ways the video viewing site has changed our lives (cinnamon challenge anyone?).  And Apple may soon introduce face recognition technology that can be used to unlock its phones. But this might be a problem for folks in Los Angeles.

All that and more in today's technology roundup of Punchlines.  Take a look at some of our favorite jokes from the past few days, then vote for yours in the quick poll to the right.  Watching from your smartphone or tablet? Then visit opinion.usatoday.com to cast your ballot.
