'Beauty' auditions set for Scottsdale's Act One Youth Theatre

Scottsdale's Act One Youth Theatre has scheduled auditions for Wednesday, Sept. 3, for its upcoming production of Disney's "The Sleeping Beauty." Auditions are open to children ages 8-19 and will consist of 16 bars of a song and participants may be asked to cold read and sing a few lines from the musical.

The play will be presented Oct. 17-19 at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale.
