Passengers dine at Cowboy Ciao in Terminal 4 of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The restaurant is participating in HMSHost's inaugural Airport Restaurant Month.

Traveling this month? If you're flying out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport or other major airports around the country arrive early to check out new restaurant deals.

HMSHost, a giant airport concessionaire, today launched the first Airport Restaurant Month.

It is modeled after cities' popular restaurant weeks -- which generally feature a three-course meal at a fixed price -- but the offerings are more limited, At most airports, there is just one participating restaurant.

At Sky Harbor, Cowboy Ciao is the featured restaurant. The restaurant, a branch of the popular downtown Scottsdale eatery Arizona Republic restaurant critic Howard Seftel named one of the top 10 uniquely Arizona restaurants, is offering a $25 chef's tasting menu that includes a Caesar salad, reverse nacho, roasted asparagus, chef's potato and rosemary grilled chicken breast. For $3 extra, the chicken can be substituted for pan seared salmon or marinated skirt steak.

Alas, Cowboy Ciao's famed Stetson Chopped salad and Exotic Mushroom Pan Fry are not featured on the restaurant month menu but are each sold separately at the restaurant.

Cowboy Ciao is located in the high B gates at Terminal 4, home to US Airways flights and international flights.

Other airport restaurants participating in restaurant month include Gladstone's 4 Fish at Los Angeles International Airport, Chop House and PGA Tour Grill at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, Goose Island at Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Todd English's' Ozone and Bonfire restaurants at Logan International Airport in Boston.
