Grumpy Cat gets her own Little Golden Book.

Grumpy Cat, the sullen star of stage, screen and promotional events, has scratched out yet another achievement in her attempt to take over the publicity world.

The frown-faced feline takes center page in Little Golden Books’ “The Little Grumpy Cat that Wouldn’t,” a post-modern farce dealing with society’s inability to adjust to negative paradigms, only to grudgingly accept differences even at the risk of alienation.

OK, it’s about friends trying to get Grumpy Cat to try new things and she just keeps saying “No,” -- thereby staying true to herself.

The book, published Tuesday, July 26, is available on Amazon and other online stores. List price is $4.99, but its selling on Amazon for $3.37. It's already listed as a "#1 Bestseller" in "Children's New Experiences Books."

There are six reviews, all of which are five stars. In the book, Grumpy Cat's resolve is tested by a Butterfly, a Ladybug and a Yellow Bird, according to the reviews.

Grumpy Cat, who was a simple Arizona cat named Tardar Sauce before her photo went viral, now has 8.7 million followers on Facebook as well as her face on calendars and various pet products.
