More hints at violence.

Once again Donald Trump hints at violence against Hillary Clinton.

Would he call it a joke?

Would he say we're taking things out of context?

Would he say we’re overreacting?

We’re not.

It can’t be acceptable for a candidate for the presidency of the United States to allude to an attack on another candidate.

And yet, somehow, it is.

Remember what Trump said would happen if Clinton became president and got to nominate Supreme Court justices?

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Trump said, adding, “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

It’s sick.

There is no other way to describe it.

And he’s only gotten worse.

Sicker.

At a rally in Florida Friday Trump said of Clinton, “She goes around with armed bodyguards like you have never seen before. I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm. Right? Right? I think they should disarm immediately. What do you think? Yes? Yes. Yeah. Take their guns away. She doesn't want guns. ... Let's see what happens to her. Take their guns away, okay? It would be very dangerous."

Really?

Let’s see what happens to her?

How is that acceptable? A parent wouldn’t tolerate a comment like that from an obstinate child.

And he wants to be…Commander in Chief?

Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the survivor of an assassination attempt, and her husband, Capt. Mark Kelly, condemned Trump’s mosts recent comment, issuing a statement that reads in part, “Tonight we have even more evidence of just hot dangerously unfit Donald Trump is to be president of this great country. He is reckless, irresponsible and unworthy of the office he seeks.”
