Montini: Trump rails against unnamed sources … which made him president

President Donald Trump at CPAC Friday.

President Donald Trump was railing against the media (surprise, surprise) during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday when he actually said these words, "I'm against the people that make up stories and make up sources. They shouldn't be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody's name. Let their name be put out there."

Hellllllllo?

Think about it.

Remember the presidential campaign?

If Trump’s no-anonymous-sources rule was in place; if (First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution not withstanding) the media were not “allowed” to utilize anonymous sources, then NONE of the emails that were hacked and stolen from the Hillary Clinton campaign ever would have seen the light of day.

And whom do you suppose would be president?

It was only after the campaign was over and Trump was elected that we found out conclusively that criminal Russians hackers were the “sources.”

Trump has praised those criminals..

During the campaign, he actually encouraged them.

And now, by Trump’s own definition, all of those emails should have been labeled “fake news” and "not allowed."

If only…
