A man and a woman at about 4:45 p.m. March 1 walked into the restaurant at 2434 E. Baseline Road and waited for all the customers to leave. They then walked up to the counter, as if to order. The woman demanded the money from the register, according to Phoenix police. She flashed a black handgun tucked into her waistband.

The man stood as a lookout. When the employee was unable to open the cash register, the couple fled.
