Could '70s super-duo Captain & Tennille be getting back together?

Well, no, not likely, especially if you read last year's bestselling "Toni Tennille: A Memoir," in which the vocalist details her cold, empty marriage to Daryl Dragon, AKA the Captain. But the two apparently will be living in the same Arizona city, Prescott, when Tennille relocates next month.

The couple, who recorded such million sellers as "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Shop Around" and "Do That to Me One More Time," moved to Prescott in 2008. After their marriage ended in 2014, Tennille moved to Lake Mary, Fla., to be near relatives while Dragon remained in Arizona. In a Facebook post, however, Tennille says she's returning to Prescott for good next month.

"I have already bought a house in Prescott, and will be making the move back there at the end of July," she writes. "My youngest sister, Melissa, will fly out here to be my copilot on the 2,500 mile drive back to Prescott."

Tennille said she plans to avoid the spotlight when she's back in our borders. She will perform, albeit on a much smaller scale than in the Captain & Tennille heyday.

"I will be going back to a quiet life as a 'normal' person again… doing activities with my Australian Shepherd girls, Bebop and Lula," she writes. "They have been house pets for the last two years, and it is time for them to DO STUFF again!!! I will also be singing in the tenor section of the Yavapai College Master Chorale... I LOVE just being a section singer… no pressure or stress… just the joy of singing great works as part of a chorus of excellent singers."

The reason for the move? After settling in Florida, she felt discontented, she says.

"Something wasn’t right," she writes. "I had the strange, unsettling sense that I was in the wrong place. I had to figure out what was causing that feeling, and what to do about it... I finally I realized that the best friends I had ever had and loved are back in the west! They are my 'tribe'… I missed them with all my heart. I have close and trusted friends back in northern Nevada, and an amazing circle of funny, loving and caring friends I left back in Prescott,"

In March, she posted how she helped Dragon move to a new home in Prescott.
