Scottsdale Arts CEO Neale Perl resigns
Scottsdale Arts announced Friday that CEO Neale Perl resigned "to pursue new opportunities."
Scottsdale Arts Board of Trustees Chair Kathy Wills said Perl felt it was time to make a change because he achieved the goals he set when he took the position in 2014.
“Thanks to Neale’s leadership and vision, Scottsdale Arts is well positioned to achieve great things,” Wills said in a statement.
Scottsdale Arts, founded in 1987, is a non-profit organization that oversees the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Scottsdale Public Art.

This year, Scottsdale Arts got 45 percent of its funding from the city of Scottsdale, 36 percent from earned revenue, such as museum entrance fees, and 19 percent from donations and community contributions, according to the organization's annual report.
Wills said Neale played a big part in integrating a new organizational structure that helped to rebrand the organization.
Former Scottsdale Arts Board of Trustees Chair Mike Miller will fill in as interim CEO while a search committee looks for a permanent replacement.
