Chase's Diner in Chandler celebrates 20 years with festivities, 10/20-22
Think 20/20.
That's 20 years in business for family-owned Chase's Diner in Chandler, and a three-day anniversary party starting on Oct. 20.
Longtime Chandler residents Skip and Nancy Chase own the '50s style diner, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Here is a full list of festivities at the restaurant, near Alma School and Warner roads.
Friendor Fair
What: This kid-friendly event features “Funky Chicken” from Hickman’s Family Farms, plus representatives from Chandler, the Arizona Restaurant Association and Dr. Pepper.
When: 9 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 20.
Giveaway Day
What: Be one of the first 50 guests and receive a gift card redeemable for a stack of Chase’s Diner buttermilk pancakes. Other giveaways include T-shirts, gift cards, a flat-screen TV and the grand prize, free pancakes for a year.
When: Saturday, Oct. 21. Doors open at 6 a.m.
Give Back Day
What: The final day is dedicated to raising money for Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Guests can hang out with puppies and kittens from the shelter. The diner will collect donations for the shelter through October, including collars, leashes, toys and bones. On Oct. 22, the diner will match all monetary donations.
When: 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Oct. 22
